My name is Richard Fitzgerald. I'm a bricklayer with over 40 years on the tools — and Brickwork Tools is my company. FitzBrick is my brand and FitzBrick tools are my designs and my standard.

Where It Started.

For years I'd been making rough working versions of these tools for myself. Practical solutions to problems I kept running into on site. They did the job, but I knew they could be better.

When a shoulder operation put me off-site on doctor's orders, I used the recovery time to properly prototype my designs and take them through the patent process. That decision turned something I'd built for my own use into a range of unique, legally protected products.

Every FitzBrick tool comes from decades on real sites, in real conditions. My profile systems, line blocks, and corner kits weren't designed behind a desk. They were developed by someone who has laid thousands of courses and knows exactly where equipment lets you down.
